Just as the people of Israel, awaiting the saviour of their nation, prayed: “Baruch haba beshem Adonai”, we say – “Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!”
Waiting means believing that a light will shine in the darkness,
that God will come to His creation, will appear in a tangible form,
will speak in an understandable tongue,
in order to dispel hazy and speculative notions about
who He is, what His will is, what His character is,
what worship He would gladly receive from people, and
what attitude towards one another He considers worthy in His Kingdom.
He will come to reveal the governance of His Kingdom:
in it the greatest is the servant of all, and He Himself will show this by His humility even unto death on the cross.
A blessed and peaceful season of waiting to you!
