A wonderful event in the field of women’s ordination in Latvia: the Rev. Ieva Puriņa, who was ordained a pastor of the LELBĀL in Latvia in 2014, has now become a dean.

On 27 September 2020, in a beautiful and solemn worship service in Zvannieki, the pastor and theologian Ieva Puriņa was installed as dean of the Latvian district of the LELBĀL. The service included baptisms and Holy Communion.

Dean Ieva Puriņa will carry on the work of her predecessor, the Rev. Kārlis Žols.
