Pastor Ņina Rautenšilde has been called into eternity

On 12 December, Ida Ņina Rautenšilde, a pastor of Latvian descent in America, passed into eternity.

The farewell will take place on 18 December at 11:00 at Oakridge Cemetery in Hillside, IL.

Ida Ņina Rautenšilde was born in 1929 in Latvia. In 1944 she set out, together with her family, on the path of refugees through the port of Liepāja and reached the USA. Ida Ņina worked as a doctor in the USA and was married to Pastor A. Rautenšilds.

In America, Ida Ņina Rautenšilde was ordained in the ELCL Abroad (or the Latvian Lutheran Church in Exile) on 2 September 1990 and served at the Latvian Ev. Luth. Zion congregation in Chicago.
