In a radio interview, Dr. Dace Balode recalled the Gospel – Jesus did not turn to those people who were righteous or who believed “correctly.” He went to those who needed his help.
“I hope that perhaps this step by Juris Rubenis could lead to inner reflection and perhaps to the activation of those Christians and those forces who do not agree with the kind of church development there has been in recent years, including the bans on women’s ordination, so that those forces might become active, express their opinion and faith, and show one another support.” / Dace Balode/
