The Latvian Lutheran Women Theologians’ Association, in cooperation with the Faculty of Theology of the University of Latvia, is organising the conference “Lutheran Spirituality Today”, which will take place on 26 October 2019 from 9.30 to 17.00 in Riga, at the University of Latvia, Raiņa bulvāris 19.
Lectures on the expressions and trends of Lutheran spirituality in Europe and the USA will be given by lecturers from Latvia, Germany, Sweden, Iceland, Great Britain and the USA.
At the conference we will mark the 30th ordination anniversary of LELB pastor Sarmīte Fišere.
On the next day of the conference, 27 October, we will celebrate the ordination service of Rudīte Losāne in Cīrava (more information here).
