Pastor Ieva Puriņa installed as Dean of the LELCA in Latvia on September 27.
Pastor Vaira Bitēna is one of the founders of the Association of Lutheran Women Theologians in Latvia.

Looking back at the past 25 years, it is obvious that the path has been difficult and thorny. Several women were hurt by the sudden theological shift of LECL and the non-ordination policy.
