Wonderful development in women ordination area in Latvia: Pastor Ieva Puriņa, who was ordained in 2014 by the Latvian Evangelical Lutheran Church Abroad (LELCA), now has become the Dean of the Latvian Deanery of the LELCA.

On September 27, 2020 teologian and pastor Ieva Puriņa was installed as the Dean of the Latvian Deanery of the LELCA. Church service included also a baptism and Communion.
