During the Latvian Song and Dance Festival, a joint ELCL and LELBĀL worship service is planned at Riga Cathedral on Wednesday, July 3, 2013, at 3:00 p.m.
Both archbishops and choirs from Latvia and abroad will participate. The worship service will be followed by a time of fellowship, hopefully with refreshments in the Cathedral Garden. The collection is intended for the joint mission work of the ELCL and LELBĀL.
Brothers and sisters in the office are invited to participate actively, in a cassock or a clerical shirt. If in an alb, then with a green stole.
All members of our congregations are warmly invited, first to praise God with songs and prayers, and then, while gathering in the Cathedral Garden, to renew old bonds of friendship and to establish new ones.
